Finance Manager

The Opportunity

Reporting to our Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will play a crucial role in leading and supporting the financial operations of Revo Fitness. This position is not just about managing numbers; it’s about leading a dedicated team to drive financial reporting and compliance.

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the accounts payable, payroll, and accounting teams. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, ensuring that each team member is motivated, supported, and empowered to excel in their roles.

The role is full-time (38 hours per week). There may be occasional travel between Revo Fitness sites, both regionally and interstate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the day to day operations and people leadership of the Finance team.
  • Collaborating with the Financial Controller on key management reporting and analysis.
  • Leading the statutory reporting and audit process (full year and half year)
  • Supporting the CFO with cashflow and earnings forecasts.
  • Working closely with the Financial Controller on Monthly Management Reports and budgets.
  • Month end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee tax compliance.
  • Oversee payroll compliance.
  • Oversee supplier payments.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA qualification is essential.
  • Significant experience in leading finance and payroll teams, preferably within the fitness or retail industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of cost accounting, reporting, financial risk analysis, budget management and forecasting.

This position will work from Revo’s Perth HQ – based on Stirling Highway in Claremont.
