The Rotating Internship:
This prestigious program will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside our experienced specialists, providing care to our patients and their families. This program offers you a structured learning opportunity, providing you access to a varied case load, advanced equipment and imaging facilities, and the support of the wider SASH team. You will rotate through Medicine, Surgery, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Emergency and Critical Care, get to work alongside Anaesthesia and Radiology specialists and be supported by a highly skilled nursing team. This is a full-time, 12 month position with an expected start date of February, 2026.
  
About You:
We are looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic vets with a thirst to learn. This is a challenging program and will require you to have an adaptable and proactive approach to situations. To be considered for a position, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Strong care and service orientation with a hands-on approach
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively, positively and flexibly with others
• Self-motivated and committed to ongoing professional development

• Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of SASH
• Eagerness to have primary involvement in cases and look forward to tackling a high and interesting case load

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Tertiary qualified Veterinarian with minimum of 1-year experience is preferred, however we are certainly open to considering applications from newly graduated veterinarians as well.
• Current registration or ability to register with the Queensland Veterinary Surgeons Board
