Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian

SASH is excited to announce our new referral and specialist hospital in Alexandria, scheduled to open in the second half of 2023.  We will provide excellence in the core services as well as a range of additional clinical services in-house, and with all of our hospitals working collaboratively together, we can offer the additional subspecialities where required, to provide the best outcomes for all our patients.  

About the Role:  
We are looking for emergency and critical care vet who is professional and motivated, while being passionate about providing exceptional patient care. We are searching for a full-time, permanent vet to join our team, however, we would consider part-time opportunities for the right person. You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of intensive and critical care cases, in a first rate facility, with a high case load. You will benefit from the mentorship of our experienced emergency and critical care specialists, providing you with the opportunity to develop elite skills and unique range of experience. 

About You: 
We are looking for a passionate vet who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach to their work. You will have the following skills: 
  • A keen interest in emergency and critical care with a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey 
  • An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Confidence working in an extremely busy environment 
  • A Degree in Veterinary Science registrable in NSW 
  • A minimum of 2-4 years, full-time experience as a Vet 
  • Previous experience in emergency service would be highly regarded but is not essential.
