We are looking for a Part-Time Internal Medicine Nurse to join the team, working a minimum of 1 day per week (Thursdays) with potential to pick up additional hours.

Internal Medicine specialises in diagnosing complex diseases, particularly those that are challenging to identify and those for which advanced testing may be required, and we’re fortunate to have a diverse team of Specialist Veterinarians and Nurses with a combined total of over a century of clinical expertise across our hospital.

Who are we looking for?

• A keen interest in Internal Medicine and a desire to work closely with patients throughout their entire SASH journey
• Experience with supporting medicine specialists with endoscopy procedures, advanced imaging and facilitating interesting clinical procedures
• Confidence to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will be speaking with clients
• A passion for helping patients and their owners, we do amazing work and have fun together

To be considered for this position, applicants must have: 

• Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience working as a qualified vet nurse
• Experience in Anaesthesia is essential
