SASH Adelaide provides the most comprehensive range of specialist veterinary departments including 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, and diagnostic imaging.

Our ECC department is now offering full time opportunities for nurses to join us supporting Inpatient care, Triage and Emergency.

Who are we looking for?

• A keen interest in Emergency and critical care and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including partaking in overnights and weekens.
• An ability to remain calm under pressure, while maintaining effective decision-making skills.
• Be able to confidently and effectively triage patients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in anaesthesia and ventilation.
• Confidence working in a busy environment with competing demands

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse.
• Previous experience in Emergency / ICU would be highly regarded but is not essential.
