The Hospital Attendant position:
We are currently looking for Hospital Attendants to assist our team of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and the best quality of care to our patients. Our Hospital Attendants ensure that the standard of animal care and presentation of hospital facilities are maintained at the highest possible level.
  
To be successful in this position you must be a team player and have the ability to think outside the box! This is 2 days per week, part-time position and you must be available to work rotating shifts 24/7 with majority of shifts being rostered between 6am and 10pm on weekends, but may also include public holidays and peak periods. There is a possibility this role will increase in hours overtime. 

Duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Cage & hospital cleanliness
  • Setting up cages for incoming patients
  • Feeding and offering water
  • Restocking IV fluids & disposables
  • Daily laundry
  • Transporting non-critical patients (unrestricted Class C drivers licence required)
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast paced, ever-changing environment  
  • Good communication skills  
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
