Full Job Description
Help close the gap and provide vital continuity of care to a large Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community in this rewarding GP locum role. 
 
Required dates: 14/12-22/12/2026, 4th Jan 2027 onwards (two or three weeks placements can be arranged)
Fees: $2000 plus GST per day
Travel: one off return travel fees reimbursed (ATO rate $0.91 per KM) 
Accom: Two-bedroom house
Practice hours: Mon-Thurs-9:00am -5.00pm and Fridays-9.00am-4.00pm (one hour lunch break)

Role: Provide sessional care to a diverse patient population, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, their families, the elderly, and the broader community across and Murray Valley districts

This varied role will see you managing a range of health presentations, including complex conditions, chronic disease, diabetes, mental health, and some alcohol and other drug (AOD) concerns.

You will be working alongside one full-time GP and supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including a registered nurse, practice manager, reception staff, visiting Aboriginal health professional and Midwife

The clinic uses Communicare with 20 mins standard appointments.
