Yarram & District Health Service (YDHS) is seeking an experienced Fellowed General Practitioner who is passionate about teaching, mentoring and supporting the next generation of rural doctors.
This unique role combines clinical practice, registrar supervision and leadership within a modern integrated rural health service, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both patient care and medical education.

The Opportunity As a GP and Primary Supervisor, you will: - Deliver comprehensive General Practice services through Yarram Medical Centre
- Provide supervision, mentorship and clinical leadership to GP Registrars
- Support acute, urgent care and aged care services across the health service
- Contribute to workforce development and rural medical education
- Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team
The practice is fully accredited for GP Registrar training with both RACGP and ACRRM and offers an excellent environment for doctors who enjoy teaching and professional development.
What's on Offer? Attractive Remuneration - 80% of billings
- Average billing capacity approximately $3,000 per day

About You: - FRACGP and/or FACRRM
- Unrestricted AHPRA Specialist Registration
- Experience in rural General Practice
- Confidence working across primary care, urgent care and aged care settings
- A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring future GPs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to patient-centred, team-based care
Highly Regarded: - Accredited GP Supervisor experience
- Previous involvement in registrar education and training
