My client is a long‑standing, community‑focused general practice that has been supporting the local region since the 1980s. Located in a purpose‑built clinic on the town’s main street, the practice has grown into a highly trusted healthcare hub known for its collaborative culture and commitment to quality care. The clinic offers onsite Pathology, Podiatry, Counselling and Dietitian services. The practice is well-positioned for a new Specialist GP to step into an established patient base and a strong mentoring environment.
 
About Your Role:

• Provide high-quality, community‑based general practice care across all ages.
• Supervise and support registrars on the Fellowship Support Program (FSP).
• Manage a varied caseload including women’s health, mental health and skin presentations.
• Handle occasional walk‑in emergencies such as simple sutures and plastering.
• Enjoy a full patient load from day one due to high demand.
• Work alongside a cohesive, multidisciplinary team in a fully accredited training environment (RACGP, reaccrediting with ACRRM).
• Flexible work arrangements with reasonable learning & development opportunities and adequate time off.
• No after hours, no on‑call, and no nursing home visits.

Your Desired Skills & Experience:

• Vocational Registration (VR) or a Specialist GP with eligibility for AHPRA registration.
• Interest in or experience supervising FSP registrars (training support available).
• Broad GP skill set including women’s health, mental health and skin procedures.
• Emergency training or rural experience beneficial (farming community with occasional injuries).
• A team-oriented approach with a commitment to high-quality, patient‑centred care.
