1. Design, write and execute test cases to ensure quality software.
2. Translate requirements into well-written, test cases.
3. Use testing tools to execute test cycles and regression.
4. Troubleshoot, debug and document feature defects.
5. Write code/scripts to test systems, capacity and infrastructure
6. Work with designers, engineers to implement a library of test approaches. " Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience. Technical Skills:
-3+ years working experience in quality assurance or software development
-Thorough understanding of product engineering life cycle and QA methodologies
-Experience in test automation. Preferably Nigthwatch.js
-Knowledge in BDD testing. Preferably Cucumber, Gherkin
-Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
-Experience in REST API´s testing
-Experience with performance testing and benchmarking tools
-Experience with the UNIX and Windows operating systems
-Experience using sripting languages. Preferably bash
-Experience working with large scale enterprise applications
-Experience working with Agile software development methodology and agile tools.
-Experiece in Git workflow, including pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD systems. Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
