Junior Automation Tester

Role Objective
The Junior Engineer – Automation Tests will be a significant contributor to developing and maintaining the medEbridge automation test suite.  This will involve working with the QA Manger, Product Owner and Engineers to design and develop the automation tests. Sitting under the testing practice, you will be a part of an agile team that delivers end to end solutions Following on from involvement in the sprint kick-offs, the role will then be responsible for the design and delivery of automation tests of  features in our Agile delivery model, working with the squad(s) to deliver quality solutions in line with the company defined business/initiative metrics. Ideally, we are also looking to automate tests wherever & whenever possible.
Overall Outcomes / Accountabilities
  • Developing automated tests to verify feature functionality
  • Maintain automation test suites
  • Review automation test results and take appropriate actions on failures

  • Preferably from a development background would be ideal
 Technical Skills
  • Experience with Selenium, Specflow and writing feature files
  • Writing step definitions using C#
  • Working experience/knowledge in HTML, JavaScript / TypeScript / jQuery / React, Bootstrap/Nodejs/ GRUNT
  • Agile development practices
  • Experience in API testing using POSTMAN
  • Strong Test Automation experience – testing across UI, Web Services, APIs (REST & SOAPU)
  • Knowledge in using Proxy tools like Fiddler and management tool like Jira
