Paediatric Speech Pathologist

My client is a large multidisciplinary team, providing occupational therapy, speech pathology, art therapy and psychology services to neurotypical and neurodivergent children and adolescents.

The Role
 
An exciting opportunity exists for passionate and experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our client's expanding team. You will support children aged 2-16 to achieve their goals.

Within this role you will be responsible for:
  • Conducting initial consultations with parents or caregivers
  • Collaborating with families to set child and family-centered goals
  • Designing and implementing strength-based therapy plans
  • Liaising with other professionals involved in the child’s care
  • Providing therapy in the child’s natural environments, including homes and schools
  • Learning and conducting standardized speech pathology and developmental assessments
  • Creating engaging resources for therapy sessions and home programs

The candidate
 
We’re looking for someone who brings passion, energy, and a heart for children! You’ll thrive with our client if you have:
  • A love for paediatrics and a warm, empathetic approach to your work
  • A Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or are willing to obtain them)
  • Graduates and final-year students are strongly encouraged to apply
