Civil Design Engineer

ATLAS recruitment are working with a national engineering consultancy in their search for a civil design engineer with 12D experience working on land development and building projects.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to get in and grow their career in the field of civil engineering working for a small civil team, being chucked in to the deep end you will be given the opportunity to learn and develop skills quickly.

The client provides civil and structural engineering services, among others, for a range of land development, commercial building (datacentre) & infrastructure projects in a wide variety of markets.

Further Info

Prepare detailed designs and documentation for civil works including roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer, and water infrastructure.
Produce long sections, cross sections, pipe networks, grading plans, and general arrangements using 12d Model and AutoCAD.
Deliver accurate and efficient drafting to support project delivery within time and quality constraints.
Support the preparation of service authority and council submissions through correct formatting and documentation standards.
Interpret survey data, engineering sketches, and service information.

About you

Working knowledge and understanding of Austroads and Australian Standards.
Be passionate about learning and seek feedback to ensure professional and technical career development.
Working understanding of civil engineering principles, road geometry design process and road safety considerations and requirements.
Proficient in the use of civil design software packages such as AutoCAD and 12D.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in the design and delivery of ideally subdivision, civil building and infrastructure projects.
