Services Manager – $200M+ Data Centre

• Leading Tier 2 Builder 
• Circa $190 – 240K Inclusive (Negotiable)
• $200M+ Data Centre (Western Suburbs)

Our client is a reputable Tier 2 builder, emerging as a key player within the Victorian Data Centre sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to secure an experienced Services Manager for a recently awarded project in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

Reporting to the VIC Services Lead, this appointment will be project delivery focused, ensuring the timely coordination, installation & commissioning of all building services packages and managing a team of Mechanical & Electrical engineers.

Candidates from Main Contracting or Tier 1 Mechanical or Electrical contracting backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  
Responsibilities:

• Working amongst a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of projects within agreed time & budget.
• Managing and resolving the detail design for the complex building services packages across the project
• Oversight & management of all service packages including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, fire, civil and storm water.
• Developing & maintaining construction programmes
• Ensure compliance with all legislation and regulations of government, local council or other authority having jurisdiction. In particular, Workcover and OH&S.
• Assist in the procurement, supervision and administration of service trade packages.
• Ongoing management & development of project engineers

To be considered you must:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Services or Project Management role
• Degree qualified in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
• High level ability to read and interpret plans and drawings including the ability to foresee problems and to generate alternative solutions.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage site teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
