Atlas Recruitment are partnering with an up & coming Tier 3 Commercial Builder who are looking to secure a high-calibre Project Manager to join their business in the Southeast.

Established in 2020 with the vision of becoming a best-in-class builder within the Residential, Community, Education, Health & Council sectors up to $20M. The business has successfully continued their growth and have achieved an excellent working environment for their staff, affording trust, flexibility, development and work life balance.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real impact in this business and will be afforded opportunities for growth towards Construction Management level as they continue to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the safe and profitable delivery of projects in collaboration with the Construction Manager / Director
  • Manage the Site Managers, Contract Administrator/s, Project Assistant/s, Site Co-ordinator/s, Cadets to ensure they are fulfilling their role as part of your delivery team
  • Preparing and driving Construction Programs across all projects for which you are allocated
  • Liaise with designated project team members, client / client representatives and subcontractors
  • Tender trade packages to sub-contractors
  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of progress claims
  • Overseeing the administration of subcontractor progress payments and contract variations
  • Close monitoring and management of project budgets and variations
  • Processing subcontractor and supplier invoices
  • Monitor Document Control both from the client and to the subcontractors and site
  • Ensuring Existing Conditions and Dilapidation Reports are completed prior to commencing works
  • Fulfil the project completion requirements in regard to defect rectification, all trade works certifications for C of O and Operation and Maintenance manuals.
About You
  • Tertiary Degree or Diploma in Construction Management 
  • Ideally 2+ Years’ Experience as Project Manager
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
  • Proficient Computer skills (Jobpac, Payapps, Procure Pro, Aconex preferably)
  • Proactive, solutions focused individual
