Sales Manager - Construction Equipment

Sales Manager required to lead and develop the Sales team. Work closely with the National Sales Manager & Branch Manager.

Wetherill Park location - Sydney

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate, lead and develop the sales team, through maintaining a best practice approach to sales management and customer excellence
  • Establish new and maintain client relationships within the state
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and growing the business through an effective management program
  • Regularly present Market Trend Data, Sales Reports etc. in a timely manner
  • Maintain capital and operational expenditure within budget, with the key focus on achieving targeted revenues across all business lines including driving the sales team to meet targets
  • Drive and lead the sales team to ensure we meet budget and forecast requirements
  • Supervision and training of staff
  • Conduct regular communication team briefing sessions
  • Implement strategies through consultation with National Sales Manager
  • Encourage, motivate and support sales team members
  • Coach and mentor sales team members to facilitate sales targets
Experience
  • Proven experience in sales management within the equipment sales and/or rental industry or related field.
  • Experience directing the Sales Team, manage mentor and encourage
  • Sales reporting
  • Hand on Sales Mgt experience in mobile/access equipment or equivalent with an understanding of construction or mining background knowledge
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Salary guide $110k+ aligned with skills and experience
