Business Development Manager - Melbourne

Responsible for generating profitable forklift Sales and long-term rental within the designated geographic territory. Work closely with the Sales Manager and National Sales Manager and others where applicable in order to meet the objectives set for the branch.

On the road Sales business development role. Branch location Western Suburbs Melbourne.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Target opportunities
  • Utilise existing and create new networks
  • Perform in depth site appraisals
  • Identify areas to add value
  • Achieve order targets
  • Manage and support existing client base and new opportunities
  • Represent a professional company delivering material handling solutions to magnitude of industries.
  • Develop and co-ordinate effective client relationships with customers to promote and ensure maximum market penetration and gross profit result of forklift product range
  • Input and maintain information entered into company CRM system including contacts, company information, leads, quotes and follow up information.
Experience

  • Capital Equipment Sales experience highly regarded1 day off per month $90k+super+car+commission
  • Experience in external B2B sales and rental preferred 
  • Proven lead generator who doesn’t “wait for the phone to ring”
  • Results Driven Self Motivated “Closer”
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Well-developed negotiation skills
  • Very strong relationship building skills
  • Experienced and highly motivated
  • Possession of strong commercial acumen
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the square
  • Excellent IT, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with CRM tools
Salary $90k+super+car+commission - base salary neg aligned with experience
