About the Role
Due to expansion of their product range on the Sunshine Coast, our client is seeking an experienced Pump & Dewatering Supervisor to oversee their Water Pump & Dewatering rental product range in Queensland, on the Sunshine Coast.

Details on role & responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with the branch operations/sales team to coordinate the Pump & Dewatering projects within the region

  • Prepare, deliver and install dewatering related projects.

  • Carry out required system checks of current installations for effective operation throughout project duration.

  • Assist and supervise installation teams, to ensure projects are delivered successfully and on time. Assist with after-hours callouts.

  • Train/teach fellow dewatering technicians/workers to ensure safe & effective installation practices are adhered to.

  • Liaise with customers, customers' engineers, outside contractors or any other person who is a stakeholder in a project & ensure that the equipment to be supplied is fit for purpose.

  • When required, become involved in the planning & logistics for projects & assist in implementing those plans.

  • Assist Sales & Operations Manager to ensure that the correct testing equipment is available & in working order to carry out testing & maintenance (lnground Test Tank etc).

Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, or in the civil construction industry

  • A high level of knowledge in the Pumps & Dewatering market 

  • Previous history in dewatering operations including site inspections & planning and supervising installs

  • Ability & desire to participate in a team environment

  • Good organisation skills

  • Current Drillers Licence preferred

  • Develop a good technical understanding of Pumps & Dewatering products Ability to read & understand construction plans and drawings

  • Experience with construction &for working on sites
About You
  • Ability to work and lead a team, supervise as well as roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty

  • Hold and maintain a current driver's license

  • Trade quals as mechanic or fitter

  • Able to travel at times, as part of the role

  • Technically and commercially minded
Salary guide: pro rata $90-120k+super+car+incentives - hourly rate will be paid for this role + overtime
