As the Production Supervisor, you’ll take charge of an experienced team, including dispatch and production staff. Working between the hours of
4:00 pm to 2:00 am, you’ll ensure seamless operations, drive safety and efficiency, and lead process improvement projects in preparation for a significant business transformation.
You’ll be accountable for meeting DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) targets, managing quality control, and optimising machine utilisation to deliver high-quality products. This is a role for someone ready to step up and make an impact!
Key Responsibilities - Lead and inspire your team: Manage attendance, performance, and development, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
- Ensure safety is a priority: Maintain WHS compliance, conduct training, and manage incident investigations swiftly.
- Drive production excellence: Plan schedules, improve machine efficiency (OEE >75%), and ensure zero non-conformance on finished products.
- Champion continuous improvement: Lead initiatives using Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Prepare for the future: Oversee projects to enhance operations ahead of a major site transition in two years.
About You To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in production, manufacturing, or mining industries.
- Prior experience leading a team on afternoon / night shifts.
- Be a hands on leader willing to work on the ground to lead the production team.
- Strong people management skills and a track record of motivating teams.
- Experience with process improvement methods like Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S.
- An engineering degree is preferred but not essential.
