Pre-Construction Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Construction Project Manager to join an established workplace design and construction business in Brisbane.

This is a front-end, client-facing role managing workplace fit-out projects from initial concept and budgeting through design development, tendering and construction handover.

The Role

• Guide clients through the pre-construction and design process
• Manage concept design, budgets, programmes and approvals
• Coordinate designers, consultants and subcontractors
• Manage design development and cost refinement
• Work closely with Sales and Estimating on bids and project opportunities
• Oversee tendering and market pricing
• Provide commercial advice, cost reporting and risk management
• Manage IFC documentation, permits and compliance requirements
• Ensure a structured handover into the construction delivery team

About You

• 5+ years' Project Management experience
• Strong workplace / commercial fit-out experience
• Design & Construct experience highly regarded
• Strong commercial and cost planning capability
• Confident client-facing communication skills
• Experience managing design, consultants and project documentation
• Procore, ACC, Excel and MS Project experience advantageous
• Construction or Project Management qualifications preferred
