We have an exciting opportunity with a high‑growth Australian business operating at the forefront of modular reinforcing and engineered, prefabricated reinforcement systems.
With a strong pipeline of secured work and expansion plans already underway, they are now seeking a hands‑on, commercially astute General Manager to lead its operations Nationally and take the business into its next phase of growth.

In the opportunity as General Manager you will take full accountability for the performance of the NSW and SA operations. Reporting directly to the Director, this role blends leadership, commercial decision‑making and hands‑on operational management. You won’t be inheriting a static business — you’ll be shaping, strengthening and scaling one.
With significant projects secured (including multi‑year works with major Tier 1 contractors) and expansion plans on the horizon, this role will suit someone who enjoys growth, complexity and responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end‑to‑end NSW and SA operations
- Full P&L ownership, commercial performance and financial governance
- Oversee compliance, safety, governance and operational excellence
- Drive a high‑performance, values‑led culture
- Build, maintain and strengthen client and partner relationships across civil and commercial markets
- Support and execute business growth and scaling initiatives, particularly in modular reinforcing
- Mentor and develop leaders while remaining hands‑on and visible in the business
About You
This role will suit a pragmatic, credible leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
You will likely bring:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Business Leader in construction, manufacturing, steel, infrastructure or related sectors
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen, with demonstrated P&L responsibility
- A strong safety background
- A leadership style that is practical, people‑focused and accountable
- Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or complex project environments
- A genuine appreciation for culture and community engagement
