The Opportunity:
As a Civil Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of civil projects, leading self-performed crews and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include:
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor daily tasks and project progress.
  • Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
  • Supervise excavation, trenching, pipelaying, roadworks, drainage, and concrete works.
  • Enforce WHS and environmental compliance on site.
  • Monitor plant, labour, and materials to control costs and optimise productivity.
  • Troubleshoot site issues and ensure quality of works through inspections and QA documentation.
  • Liaise with engineers, clients, inspectors, and authorities.
  • Mentor and develop site staff, fostering a high-performing team culture.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Certificate IV in Civil Construction or similar and ideally you will have training in H&S
  • Proven experience supervising civil construction projects ideally with a pipelaying and/or an operating background 
  • Able to meet program, productivity levels and maintain work with an assigned budget 
  • Be a champion of health and safety on site and help drive this culture
