About the role:
This is a hands-on HR Generalist role, supporting a fast-paced and growing retail business across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with leaders and the wider People & Culture team, you'll provide practical HR advice, support people initiatives and help foster a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
You'll work across a broad range of HR activities, balancing day-to-day operational support with opportunities to contribute to people projects, process improvements and employee experience initiatives.

What you'll be doing:
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across the business
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts and employment changes
  • Support employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations and conflict resolution
  • Partner with leaders to support engagement, retention and employee development
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of HR initiatives, projects and policies
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems and processes are up to date
  • Support compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards and company policies
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the overall employee experience
What you'll bring:
  • 3–5+ years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within retail or a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of the employee lifecycle and generalist HR practices
  • Confidence managing employee relations matters and providing practical advice to stakeholders
  • Good understanding of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards and employment compliance
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across all levels of a business
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment
