The Position
Assist the Warehouse Manager in ensuring the working efficiency of each and every location.

About the Role:
This role will be responsible for:
  • ASW Warehouse Management System maintenance of locations
  • Timely replenishment of all pick faces
  • Consolidation of all reserve locations to ensure availability of free locations for incoming goods
  • Development and maintenance of put away levels to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Maintenance of replenishment levels Maintenance of pick priorities to ensure maximum efficiencies.
  • Maintenance of put away priorities to ensure maximum efficiencies.
  • Development of location groups to ensure reserve inventory is in close proximity to the pick face. Minimise stock movements.
  • Development of conversion factors to ensure inventory is moved around in full pallet (skid) quantities and minimise stock handling.
  • Set up of all new products in WMS and ensuring they have a suitable pick face.
  • Maintaining pick faces in a manner that will drive efficiencies. That is, the fasting moving products are closest to the assembly / dispatch areas.
  • Use of forecast volumes to ensure each product is assigned the most appropriate location type.
  • Work in ‘location size’ to make sure that all stock capabilities are correct in view of the particular product and location size.
  • Maintenance of items that are assigned to locations. Current products to be item assigned.
  • Rework items to Australia standards.
About You:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
  • Year 10 Secondary School (Desirable)
  • Certificate III Transport and Logistics (Desirable)
  • Forklift operator’s license
  • SAP Experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Pleasant phone manner
  • Ability to identify products
  • Pay attention to detail and be accurate
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Desire to learn and expand knowledge of the company’s systems and procedures.
  • Ability to train and supervise casual employees.
  • Sound knowledge of the ASW Warehouse Management processes
