Our client, Vincent St Kitchen + Bar, located in Cessnock, is looking for a strong leader to build on the venue’s initial success. If you are looking for a new opportunity with a company that is highly regarded for its values, excellent workplace culture, and innovative projects this could be just the role for you.

About you

Ideally you will have proven success in the management of a similar venue including overseeing the day to day operations.  You will be the driving force behind the delivery of excellent customer service and positive workplace culture.  You will have a reputation for being an excellent communicator with the business acumen to deliver on key objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Venue management – including managing venue operations within budget, fostering success around gaming, TAB, entertainment, restaurant operations and customer engagement.
  • Leadership and staff management – including managing staff rosters, training & mentoring of new staff and daily operational leadership.
  • Beverage Management – including managing the venues beverage portfolio, liaising with suppliers, stock reconciliation and training staff (product knowledge).
To be successful in the role you will be customer focused with a strong work ethic.  Ideally you will have experience in a Club and/or Hotel environment including a solid understanding of gaming and current liquor legislation.

As a member of the Group’s Senior Management Team you will have support across multiple functions including Marketing, Human Resources, Events and Operations.

Vincent St Kitchen + Bar is part of the Cessnock Hospitality Group who operates Clubs at both Cessnock and Paxton along with Wine Country Motor Inn Cessnock.  The group offers a diverse range of hospitality experiences including gaming, sports bar, bistro, accommodation and wagering.

Please including your resume and cover letter.  Cover letters tell your story in a way that a resume doesn’t, so we use these to get to know you, and to learn why you are interested in joining our team.  For this reason, applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
