Solutions Architect - SAP SuccessFactors

An experienced SAP SuccessFactors Solution Architect is required to provide expert leadership, architectural direction, and technical advice across enterprise HR systems. This role plays a key part in the design, integration, and ongoing enhancement of SAP SuccessFactors solutions, ensuring alignment with
business requirements, technical standards, and best practice architecture.


You will work closely with business owners, delivery teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver robust, fit-for-purpose solutions across complex, integrated ERP environments.


Key responsibilities
  • Provide architectural leadership across SAP SuccessFactors solution design, delivery, and ongoing optimisation
  • Analyse business requirements and system specifications, ensuring solutions align to strategic and operational needs
  • Design and document solution architectures in line with relevant standards, policies, and governance frameworks
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate architectural risks and issues
  • Provide expert advice on system development, integration, and solution design changes
  • Review and assure the quality of solution deliverables
  • Consult with business stakeholders on enhancement opportunities and future-state design
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve agreed business outcomes
  • Maintain a current understanding of ERP technologies, SAP SuccessFactors products, and industry trends
  • Mentor and support team members through coaching and knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to sound governance, compliance, and information security practices

Key skills and experience

  • Proven experience delivering complex SAP SuccessFactors solutions across multiple modules
  • Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors, including (but not limited to) Employee Central, Recruitment, and Learning
  • Extensive experience in solution architecture, systems integration, and integration design
  • Demonstrated ability to design and present solution artefacts and architecture documentation
  • Experience working in highly integrated ERP environments and large-scale transformation programs
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to consult, influence, and negotiate on complex matters
  • Proven leadership capability, including mentoring architects and guiding technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client service mindset with experience working to defined timeframes and service levels
  • Knowledge of contemporary integration patterns, service-oriented architecture, and industry trends

This role will be offered as an initial 6 month contract + opportunity to extend.
