BLACKROC is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced
Data Solutions Architect (Data & Analytics) for a 6-month contract based in Brisbane.
This role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-scale data and analytics architecture initiatives across cloud and hybrid environments, influencing strategic data capability uplift and enabling data-driven decision-making.
Role Purpose The Data Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and guiding the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing data analytics solutions aligned with business objectives and future-state capability.
Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end data analytics solution architecture design
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data solutions
- Conduct options analysis, solution assessments, and cost modelling
- Provide architecture governance and risk management across delivery
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across the organisation
Required Skills & Experience - Extensive experience in data and analytics solution architecture
- Strong cloud data platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience with modern analytics platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake
- Solid data integration, modelling, and governance expertise
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
