Blackroc is partnering with a large
Queensland Government department to engage several experienced
Change Analysts to support a major multi-project modernisation program. These roles offer long-term stability, flexible work arrangements, and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful digital and process transformation across the public sector.
You will join a large program delivering the replacement of legacy systems and the introduction of new applications across planning, workflow, reporting, and business operations. The Change Analyst will support broad and diverse stakeholder groups across Queensland Government and help drive successful adoption of new systems and processes.
Working closely with the Organisational Change Manager, Program Manager, project teams, and SMEs, you will contribute to end-to-end change and communications activities spanning multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities - Support the OCM in implementing change plans and activities to drive adoption of new systems and processes
- Conduct and document change impact assessments across business processes, roles, structure, culture, and technology
- Develop and deliver targeted communications across multiple channels to internal and external stakeholders
- Meet regularly with end users to assess readiness, gather feedback, and support smooth change implementation
- Contribute to the design and delivery of training, support materials, and capability-building activities
- Assist with go-live planning, post-rollout coaching, and adoption monitoring
Skills & Experience Required: - 8+ years’ experience in change and communications management for large, IT-focused programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience across varied user groups and leadership levels
- Expertise in assessing and documenting change impacts across processes, roles, and technology
- Proven experience designing and delivering communication plans (e.g., SharePoint, collaboration tools, electronic media, print)
- Demonstrated experience supporting training and transition activities for new systems and ways of working
Highly Desirable: - Change Management certification (PROSCI, APMG) and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Background in Business, Psychology, HR, or related fields
Role Details - Location: Brisbane CBD, with occasional work required from other Brisbane government sites
- Hybrid Work: 50% onsite per fortnight
- Contract: Initial 12-month engagement, multiple roles available
