Head of Client Services

The Role
Step into key accounts periodically (every quarter or every six months) to review performance, realign strategies with business goals, and identify opportunities for expansion. Work alongside Account Managers to run QBRs, reinforce their plans, and propose upsells or new services that increase revenue and retention.

Day-to-Day
  • Run quarterly strategy meetings with clients and their AM.
  • Assess results, highlight wins, and recommend next-phase tactics.
  • Build senior-level trust quickly; tailor advice to each client’s industry and profit and loss (P&L) statement.
  • Spot gaps where additional services (SEO, PPC, content, etc.) add value and pitch them.
  • Prep with AMs beforehand; mentor on approach and follow through on commitments.
  • Join select new-business pitches when a deeper strategy is needed.
What You Bring
  • Up to 15 years in digital marketing or agency account growth.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, PPC, social, content, CRO, and analytics.
  • Proven ability to grow accounts and retain clients.
  • Comfort discussing business models, revenue drivers, and ROI.
  • Strong presentation skills; calm under executive scrutiny.
  • Brisbane-based or willing to relocate; some local travel.
