Permanent Role – Technical Support Specialist
Location: Brisbane (adjacent to CBD) | Work Arrangement: 5 days onsite
  
BLACKROC is exclusively partnered with an established national technology provider to recruit a Technical Support Specialist. This is a role for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Level 2 escalation point for advanced technical issues
  • Troubleshoot complex network, IoT, and telecommunications systems
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, remote system recovery, and hardware fault analysis
  • Communicate directly with end users and site managers to ensure successful resolution
  • Provide technical consultation and system optimisation advice
What You’ll Bring:
  • 2+ years’ technical support experience with escalation handling
  • Qualifications in IT, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with network, IoT, or telecommunications systems
  • Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions
Preferred:
  • Experience in high-availability or critical-response technology environments
  • Knowledge of IoT device management and incident response protocols
