Business Analyst

We are partnering with an established organisation currently undertaking a significant business transformation program. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a Business Analyst to support the design and implementation of improvements across processes and automation initiatives

This role will suit a commercially astute and analytically minded BA who is experienced in working across transformation programs—particularly those involving organisational redesign, financial process optimisation, and the identification of automation opportunities (including RPA).

Responsibilities of the role:

Collaborate with transformation and leads to assess and document current-state processes, systems, and workflows.
Develop detailed process maps and identify gaps, inefficiencies, or automation opportunities.
Support the preparation of business cases, with a focus on identifying return on investment and cost-benefit analysis for proposed changes.
Work across cross-functional teams including technology, operations, and change to ensure aligned and achievable outcomes.
Facilitate workshops, gather functional requirements, and ensure traceability through to implementation.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

Proven experience in a Business Analyst role supporting transformation, process redesign, or finance improvement programs.
Strong knowledge of business process modelling (e.g. BPMN), including the ability to capture and analyse both operational and strategic workflows.
Familiarity with automation concepts and tools (such as RPA, workflow engines, or low-code platforms).
Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality documentation and business cases that support sound commercial and strategic decisions.
Comfortable working across multiple stakeholder groups, including finance, technology, and senior leadership.

This role will be offered as an initial 12 month contract and is due to start asap
