Change Manager

We’re partnering with a Queensland Government division currently undergoing a significant program of transformation focused on modernising its dispute resolution and review functions within the workers’ compensation system. This role plays a key part in delivering people-focused change, process uplift and technology enhancement within a high-impact, purpose-driven environment.

We’re looking for an experienced Change Manager to lead organisational change across systems, people, and process – with a particular focus on enabling the successful rollout of a fit-for-purpose technology solution within a complex, regulated business unit.

About the Role
As the Change Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end change strategy, planning and execution. This includes creating key artefacts (stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness plans), coaching senior leaders, developing communications, and supporting the business through adoption and transition.

You will work closely with the Program Manager and operational stakeholders to ensure the change is aligned, well-communicated, and delivered smoothly into a low change maturity environment.

Ideally you will have the following experience:
We’re looking for a change leader with proven success in delivering structured, people-centred change in insurance or government environments. You’ll be comfortable working with complexity, and adept at navigating stakeholder expectations.

Your responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute change strategies and artefacts aligned to program goals
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, coaching and readiness activities
  • Create and deliver communication and training plans
  • Identify resistance points and support mitigation plans
  • Coordinate with change and project teams to ensure integrated delivery
  • Track and report on change adoption, success metrics and outcomes
  • Facilitate change forums and maintain consistent, clear messaging
  • Build capability and transfer knowledge to internal staff
Essential experience:
  • End-to-end change delivery using PROSCI or equivalent methodology
  • Previous success working in or alongside government or insurance organisations
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience in low change maturity or high-resistance environments
  • Ability to design and deliver compelling training and engagement materials
Highly desirable:
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and the Office 365 suite
  • Experience working in regulatory, compliance-driven or complex process environments
This role will be offered as an initial contract to 30 June 2026 + view to extend.
