Senior Product Owner
We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner to take ownership of a key product domain within a leading Australian organisation. This is a pivotal role where you’ll shape product strategy, guide delivery squads, and drive customer and commercial value through innovative, data-driven solutions.
  
What you’ll do
  • Product Roadmap & Strategy – Own and maintain the product roadmap, prioritising features and initiatives using customer insights and evidence-based data. Translate strategic objectives into actionable backlogs and release plans.
  • Leadership & Mentoring – Act as a role model for product excellence, leading a cross-functional squad and providing guidance across the wider Product Guild.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with operations, technology, and customer teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that balance customer needs with business objectives.
  • Customer Insights & Analysis – Identify emerging customer needs, analyse opportunities, and advocate for enhancements that improve experience and outcomes. Track and report on KPIs to measure success and inform future strategy.
  • Product Management – Oversee product lifecycle from ideation through to delivery, sprint planning, backlog refinement, user story creation, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, balancing competing priorities and ensuring alignment across multiple business areas.
  
What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in an Agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and product ownership principles.
  • Proven experience in roadmap creation, user story development, and product design.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Data-driven approach, applying critical thinking, problem solving, and design thinking principles.
  • Exposure to JIRA and Confluence; experience in complex product environments is highly regarded.
