The Opportunity
This is your chance to take ownership of how VMware underpins some of the most critical infrastructure in the country. You'll join a global tech consultancy delivering tangible outcomes in cloud, infrastructure, and security for government and defence clients.

Working with VMware Cloud Foundation at scale, you’ll design, build, and support environments where performance, stability, and security can’t be compromised. Backed by advanced R&D, global delivery centres, and a team that values technical depth, you’ll be part of high-impact programs where your work directly supports national capability.

What You’ll Own:

Build, configure, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation environments (vSphere, vCenter, NSX, vSAN)
Administer Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) across hybrid platforms.
Deploy and optimise Azure workloads with a focus on cost, security, and performance.
Automate workflows using Bash, PowerShell, or Python
Manage config drift and system state using Ansible or Puppet
Monitor system health and logs to detect, triage, and resolve issues quickly
Own infrastructure incidents end-to-end, with full accountability for resolution and documentation
Enforce least-privilege access, patching, and system hardening policies

Key Requirements:

Australian Citizen with active NV1 security clearance
Solid hands-on experience across VMware infrastructure (VCF, vSphere, NSX, vCenter)
Comfortable managing hybrid workloads (on-prem and Azure)
Confident with scripting and automation in secure environments
Familiar with enterprise monitoring, change control, and ITIL-aligned practices
Able to work shifts or after-hours when needed to support mission-critical systems
