Business Analyst - Aged Care & Retirement Living

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping and delivering critical transformation projects that optimise operational efficiency and enhance service outcomes. Your work will directly contribute to improving the lives of those in the Aged Care and Retirement Living communities.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems, identifying challenges, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Map out and document current workflows, use cases, and key pain points while engaging stakeholders to pinpoint root causes and their impacts.
  • Define objectives for change by outlining desired outcomes, key drivers, and measurable benefits, as well as constructing a clear ROI.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop future-state processes, highlighting "what success looks like" and identifying key performance metrics.
  • Build comprehensive technical and business documentation, including use cases, rules, triggers, and data mapping frameworks.
  • Partner with solution architects, vendors, and other teams to evaluate solution options, validate their feasibility, and support the design of new systems.
  • Draft detailed specifications for integration, system updates, and data management processes, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Design and document test scenarios to validate functionality and ensure successful project delivery.
About You:
  • A solid track record as a Technical Business Analyst, with experience in the Aged Care or Retirement Living industry highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in process discovery, stakeholder engagement, and analysis of business needs.
  • Expertise in mapping workflows, defining use cases, and building data transformation guidelines.
  • The ability to translate technical concepts into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Solution Architects and external vendors.
  • A detail-oriented mindset, with proficiency in preparing clear, precise documentation and ensuring thorough testing practices.
