Position Overview: 

Join our dynamic Managed Service Provider (MSP) Client in Adelaide as a Network Security Consultant where you will contribute to the success of multiple enterprise projects in a fast-paced, project-focused environment. The role requires a technically proficient individual with expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Aruba, and a strong focus on routing, switching, and network security. As a key member of the team, you'll play a crucial role in project services, leading complex initiatives and acting as an escalation point for the managed services network team.
  
Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to migration projects, new builds, and network refreshes for small to medium-sized businesses and data center hubs.
• Design and implement network solutions, including replacing switches, Palo Alto projects, and Fortigate implementation/migration.
• Work with Cisco, HP, Aruba, and other wired and wireless networking technologies in various enterprise customer projects.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for networking technologies, including Cisco ISR routers, Catalyst switches, Nexus series, and Huawei equipment.
• Take a lead role in security projects involving Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco Firepower/ASA/PIX, IDS/IPS, and Aruba ClearPass.
• Configure and support wireless networking solutions, including Cisco WLC, Access Points, Huawei, and Aruba wireless technologies.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on consultancy work, providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Actively participate in information gathering, complex network design, and implementation activities.
• Provide expertise in network services, management, and security, utilizing tools such as Cisco Prime/Ciscoworks LMS, Solarwinds, and more.
• Work on virtualization technologies, specifically VMware, and integrate networking solutions with virtualized environments.

  
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• CCIE or CCNP certification is required.
• Proven experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortigate, and Aruba technologies.
• Expertise in routing, switching, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Strong technical skills in managing and configuring diverse networking environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically VMWare.
• Familiarity with operating systems including FreeBSD, Linux, Windows Server, and Cisco IOS.
• Experience with network services such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP, OpenVPN, and more.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a busy MSP environment.
