Technology Risk Controls Auditor

 

Our client, a top 100 ASX Company, is seeking an entrepreneurial, methodical and inventive Technology Risk Controls Auditor to integrate, reinforce and aid the uplifting of the IT Compliance Capability of a highly collaborative, multi-vendor and multi-sourced environment.

The Technology Risk Controls Auditor will be responsible for:
  • Conducting internal operational and procedural compliance evaluations
  • Conducting IT Audits, enterprise security and risk controls, standards and policies, and good business practices. 
  • Tracking enterprise compliance across the information security framework (NIST) to identify overlapping requirements and compliance efficiencies. Maintain up-to-date records of requirements and corresponding mitigating controls.

In order to succeed, the Technology Risk Controls Auditor will need the following experience:
  • Prior experience implementing IT controls for compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards such as NIST, ISO 31000, ISO 27001.  
  • 3-5 Years of experience in compliance, audit, fraud examination, quality control, or risk analysis.
  • Broad understanding of web applications, operating systems, databases, enterprise IT architecture, server infrastructure and network technologies preferred. 

In order to succeed, the Technology Risk Controls Auditor will possess most of the following attributes:
  • Posses a "self-starter", proactive mindset. Ability to perform well autonomously and in a team environment under a complex environment while under pressure and shifting priorities. 
  • Excellent communication skills, experienced in working with internal and external vendors. 
  • Ability to lead, mentor and inspire junior professionals. 
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills and high-level attention to detail.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in compliance, audit, fraud examination, quality control, or risk analysis.
  • Prior experience implementing IT controls for compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards such as NIST, ISO 31000, ISO 27001.
