About the Opportunity:We are looking for the industry’s finest Sommelier to join our opening team to deliver a best-in-class wine experience. You will have an unwavering passion and appreciation of wine. This is a hands-on role with focus on service delivery, upkeep and maintenance of the wine cellar.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have: - Demonstrated experience as Sommelier in a premium restaurant
- Passion for the wine industry
- Extensive knowledge of wine, new and old world
- Exceptional service skills and guest focused
- Experience with stock control and inventory management is advantageous
- Must be up-to-date with industry trends
- Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Proven ability in building effective relationships
- Organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication and presentation
- Availability across a rotating roster
- WSET certification or similar (highly regarded)
- RSA certificate
