About Yakimono:
A creative tribute to the corruptible side of Japanese cuisine, Yakimono is an exuberant inner-urban Japanese eating house in the heart of the CBD. The colourful and high energy Yakimono joined Lucas Collective in late 2021 in the newly developed 80 Collins precinct, next to the two Hat Society Restaurant.
About the Role: Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be required to provide hands on support to the entire front of house team, have excellent food and beverage knowledge, be accountable for the efficient operation of the venue. Skills & Experience: - Previous experience as a restaurant Supervisor or similar
- Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment advantageous
- Strong customer focus and exceptional service skills
- Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
- Understanding of stock control & ordering processes
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build effective relationships
- Demonstrate positive attitude and work ethic
- Desire to motivate, coach and mentor staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Adaptable to change
- Able and willing to work weekends and public holiday
- Unlimited work rights in Australia
