We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale data and reporting transformation program. This contract opportunity sits within a major initiative focused on modernising enterprise reporting capabilities, including the transition from legacy warehouse platforms to a contemporary cloud-based data environment.

This role will suit a highly capable analyst who thrives in data-driven environments and is confident working across complex, multi-stakeholder programs. You will play a key role in shaping both current and future reporting landscapes, working closely with business stakeholders and the delivery team to define requirements, structure data assets and enable a smooth transition to the target state.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the capture and documentation of reporting and data requirements across multiple business domains
• Analyse current reporting environments, including identifying and assessing existing assets and data flows
• Define future-state reporting structures, data models, and classification frameworks
• Support data mapping activities, ensuring alignment between source and target systems
• Develop high-quality documentation, including requirements, data definitions, and process flows
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to validate requirements and confirm outcomes
• Work closely with program leadership to align delivery priorities, timelines, and outputs
• Provide support across the lifecycle, including design, build, testing, and implementation activities
• Assist with business-facing training and uplift in reporting tools

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in Technical Business Analysis within complex enterprise environments across data, reporting, and analytics platforms
• Strong capability in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and process mapping
• Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous and fragmented data landscapes
• Experience working
• Understanding of data governance, data modelling, and reporting frameworks
• Experience working at a technical level with PowerBI
