We are seeking a hands-on Platform/Cloud Engineer to join a fast-paced, highly collaborative technology team working across a dynamic portfolio of projects. This is a 6-month daily rate contract with strong potential for extensions or longer-term permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

You will be embedded within a core group of technologists, contributing to the design, delivery, and operation of modern platform solutions across both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Partner with project teams to design and implement scalable platform solutions
• Operate and continuously improve cloud and infrastructure environments
• Monitor platforms proactively and respond to incidents with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge assets 
• Enhance tooling that supports delivery, operations, and developer experience
• Support knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement

  

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Terraform, and GitHub
• Proven experience working within DevOps environments and practices
• Solid understanding of cloud engineering concepts (Azure preferred)
• Experience with source control and CI/CD pipelines
• Foundational knowledge of networking (routing, DNS, firewalls)
• Strong problem-solving capability with a focus on operational excellence
