As a Support Worker, the impact you make is in the everyday moments.
Supporting people to feel safe, build independence, and stay connected to their routines, their community, and what matters to them.

In this role, you will support participants in a SIL and community-based environment across Inner City Melbourne, working with individuals with complex support needs. You will play a key role in creating structure, building confidence, and supporting participants to navigate both their home and the community with consistency, dignity and care.

You’ll work closely within a team to deliver person-centred support that is respectful, reliable, and tailored to each individual’s goals and needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing consistent, person-centred support in line with individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
• Responding to behaviours of concern in a calm, proactive and respectful manner
• Encouraging engagement in meaningful activities at home and in the community
• Assisting with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, prompting personal care and maintaining a safe home environment
• Maintaining accurate documentation, including progress notes and incident reporting
• Working collaboratively with the broader team to ensure consistency in approach and quality of support

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid P2 or Open driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs in a disability, community or similar setting
• Strong communication, patience and rapport-building skills
• Availability for a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons and evenings (including active overnight support)
