HR Operations Coordinator

Kanda is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations Coordinator to join our team full-time in Bundaberg, QLD. This role supports HR compliance, systems, and employment processes across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring all records and documentation are accurate and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the team, mentoring and training HR Operations Officers to maintain high standards of service delivery
  • Oversee workforce compliance, including Working with Children checks, NDIS Worker Screening renewals & CPR etc.
  • Monitor onboarding documentation, contracts, and pre-employment checks
  • Interpret Awards such as Clerks, SCHADS, and Nurses to guide entitlements and contracts
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HR systems such as Employment Hero
About You
  • Demonstrated experience in HR Operations/Administration, Workforce Compliance or similar (ideally within the community services industry)
  • An appetite for enhancing strong team culture, providing leadership and mentorship
  • Experience using HRMS platforms like Employment Hero and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Working with Children Check - Blue Card
