Case Manager

Kanda is seeking a hands-on Case Manager to join our Children, Youth & Family Services team full-time in Townsville. This role supports young people in residential care while leading a small team of residential care workers, ensuring safe, consistent, and person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of residential care workers
  • Develop, manage, and review individualised plans for young people
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners to ensure coordinated support
  • Complete mandatory reporting and administrative tasks
  • Participate in supervision, team, and stakeholder meetings
  • Provide direct care support as needed to maintain continuity of care

About You
  • Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or similar
  • Experience in youth services management, including staff supervision
  • Strong understanding of Child Protection principles and working with government/non-government agencies
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
