Case Manager

Kanda is seeking a hands-on Case Manager to join our Children, Youth & Family Services team full-time in Townsville. This role supports young people in residential care while leading a small team of residential care workers, ensuring safe, consistent, and person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a team of residential care workers
Develop, manage, and review individualised plans for young people
Collaborate with stakeholders, government agencies, and community partners to ensure coordinated support
Complete mandatory reporting and administrative tasks
Participate in supervision, team, and stakeholder meetings
Provide direct care support as needed to maintain continuity of care

About You

Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or similar
Experience in youth services management, including staff supervision
Strong understanding of Child Protection principles and working with government/non-government agencies
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
