Support Worker

In this role, you will support participants to live safely and independently while working towards their individual goals. You will provide consistent, person-centred support within the participant’s home and the community, assisting with daily routines, mobility support and meaningful engagement.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting participants with personal and hygiene care
  • Providing mobility support and safe transfers where required
  • Assisting with daily routines, meal preparation and household tasks
  • Supporting participants with community access, appointments and social engagement
  • Following support plans, behaviour strategies and organisational procedures where applicable
  • Completing clear and accurate documentation of supports provided
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A valid P2 or Open driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Experience supporting participants with physical disabilities
  • Experience assisting with personal care and mobility support
  • Strong communication, patience and rapport-building skills
  • Availability for a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons and evenings (including active overnight support)
