Support Worker

In this role, you will support participants with complex needs to live safely and independently while working towards their individual goals. This role involves providing consistent, person-centred support across long shifts and active overnight support, helping participants remain engaged in their daily routines, community activities and social programs.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting participants with daily living tasks and personal care where required
  • Assisting with daily routines, household tasks and meaningful activities
  • Supporting emotional regulation and social engagement
  • Providing consistent care and alertness during overnight shifts
  • Following care plans, risk management strategies and organisational procedures
  • Working collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and clinical teams
  • Completing clear and accurate documentation of supports provided

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • A valid P2 or Open driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Experience supporting participants with overnight support
  • Strong rapport-building, observation and reporting skills
  • Ability to follow behaviour support plans and clinical recommendations
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Professionalism, reliability, patience and resilience when supporting participants with complex needs
  • Availability for flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons and overnight support
