HR Operations Officer

Kanda is seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations Officer to join our team in Capalaba, QLD.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring workforce compliance across the organisation. You will oversee and maintain HR operational systems and processes, ensuring adherence to all legislative and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly support safe, compliant and high-quality service delivery across our operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance & Licensing: Monitor and manage expiry/renewal of mandatory certifications, including Working with Children Checks/Blue Cards, NDIS Worker Screening Checks, AHPRA registrations, and others.
  • New Employee Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding processes, including issuing contracts, verifying pre-employment checks, and enrolling staff in required training.
  • HR Systems & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate employee records in Employment Hero and other HR/legislative platforms, ensuring data is current and compliant.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including managing email correspondence and maintaining HR documentation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external agencies regarding compliance, certifications, and HR-related queries.
About You
  • Demonstrated experience (minimum 2 years preferred) in HR administration, compliance, or onboarding, ideally within the community services sector.
  • Basic understanding of legislative and licensing requirements relevant to the sector (Child Safety, NDIS, Aged Care, Nursing).
  • Proficiency in HRM platforms such as Employment Hero and confident with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • High-level organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card.
