Residential Care Worker

What You’ll Be Doing 
  • Provide day-to-day care and guidance in a safe, nurturing residential home environment 
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, routines and life skills 
  • Build positive, trusting relationships that offer stability, encouragement and emotional support 
  • Support positive behaviour through trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches 
  • Help implement individual care plans tailored to each young person’s needs and goals 
  • Maintain accurate, professional records and documentation

To join our team, you’ll need 

• A current driver’s licence (minimum P2) 
• A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) 
• Completion of or willingness to enrol in a Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field (Disability, Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.)  
• Experience in support work, disability, mental health, aged care, childcare or youth work is welcomed but not essential 
• A genuine desire to learn, grow and make a difference in young people’s lives
