Residential Care Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you’ll lead with compassion supporting young people while guiding a dedicated team in a residential setting. You’ll champion trauma-informed care, create safe and empowering environments and deliver meaningful outcomes for young people.
  
You will:
  • Provide direct support while overseeing daily house operations
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a values-driven support team
  • Maintain compliance with child safety standards, NDIS requirements and policies
  • Oversee house presentation, medication management, safety checks, and documentation
  • Promote independence and life skills
  • Monitor behaviours, maintain safety plans, and ensure accurate reporting
  • Build strong relationships with Case Managers and key stakeholders
  
About You
You bring experience, confidence, and a trauma-informed approach, along with:
  • Experience supporting young people with disability and knowledge of the NDIS
  • Background in out-of-home care, residential care, or NDIS SILs
  • Previous team leadership or supervision experience
  • Working with Children Blue Card
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Availability across a rotating shift pattern
  • A Diploma or Certificate IV (or working towards) in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work, or similar
