Support Worker

Your role
As a Disability Support Worker providing high-complex care, you will:
  • Provide 1:1 in-home support to young twins in New Farm
    • Deliver consistent, nurturing care within structured routines
    • Support high-complex medical and personal care needs
    • Complete awake shifts and day shifts as part of the care roster
    • Monitor wellbeing and respond calmly to changing support needs
    • Assist with daily living activities in a safe, child-focused environment
    • Work closely with families, allied health professionals, and your Kanda leadership team
    • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with NDIS requirements
What you’ll need
  • Experience supporting individuals with high-complex care needs (paediatric experience highly regarded)
    • Gastric tubing experience is a bonus, but not essential
    • Willingness to complete training, all required training will be provided
    • Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
    • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
    • Availability for awake shifts and day shifts
    • Strong communication skills, patience, and a calm, nurturing approach
